Lanikai
An afternoon at Lanikai beach looked a little something like this… lost in a salty paradise. This was one of our first stops on the island eager to get a glance at the islets Moku Nui and Moku Iki. Not pictured is a scene of me gently being rocked by the low tided in a pool floaty. Relaxing almost seems like a understatement as the scene basically transports you to another world of its own. This literal picture perfect beach is one of the islands best beaches and a definite must experience. Didn’t get a chance to hike the pillbox trail to get a birds eye view of this slice of heaven (as I was preoccupied dreaming in my pool floaty), but I’ll save that for our next trip to O’ahu that I have a feeling will come sooner than later.
