New Year, New Age. Another trip around the sun and for some reason this year feels extra special. After a rough 2020 I really just wanted to celebrate my birthday with close family in a getaway retreat to reset and freely create. I decided to book a three night stay at the Joshua Tree House, Posada, and let me tell you it was magical. Spent my birthday exploring Saguaro National Park, a place I’ve always dreamed of seeing. Doesn’t rain much in Arizona but just so happen to be stormy when we were there which made for a moody Tuscon as seen in photo’s below.
Every year I always like to pick out a birthday dress inspired by where I’m traveling to, and this year I went with a feminine linen dress by Morton Mac. Recently found this Australian brand and fell in love with there feminine and as they describe “understated elegance” approach to their designs. Did a lot of flouncing and twirling around in this Elsie dress that I felt fit the aesthetic of the Posada very well.
